Enlisted in Oct '41. Basic Traing in Texas. Stationed in Midland, Texas until sent to England in July 1943. Captain Bower in charge of the radioshop at Station 505. Remained with shop until sent back to states in July 45. He repaired radio and intercom equipment on B-24 bombers, they also travelled around to other B-24 bases in England in order to install Radio Countermeasure euipment on the bombers. Married Pvt. Margaret Jackson of the British ATS, in Feb 1945.
