TG, Crosson crew. 381st BG, 535th BS. Shot down 20 December 1943 in B-17 #42-31075 'The Rebel'. Mission #51 to Bremen, Germany. MACR 1722. S/Sgt Eloe was taken by the Germans to an unknown hospital with T/Sgt Allen. He died 5 hours later. Killed in Action (KIA). Originally interred in the Cemetery of Army Post of Wesermuende-Gustemunde. Buried in the Netherlands AMC.
