Richard Ingvald Maurstad
Military1 December 1943 on return from mission to Leverkusen, crash landed in Kent, England , in B17 42-39808. 3 crew members were taken to hospital in Rochester then transferred to 38th General Hospital.
B-17F 42-30732 'Pistol Packin Mama' landed short and lost the left landing gear on a local flight and was instructed to attempt a gear up landing at Alconbury. RTD.
