MilitaryArrived in England 1 June 1943. First assignment in 3rd AD/ HQ was in supply function. After 9 months, was transferred to 100th BG and stayed there until 2 March 1945 when returned to US by Medical Department due to kidney infection. Recovered in army hospital in Santa Barbara, CA, and returned to active duty at Essler Field, Alexandria, LA.
