Graduated from high school in Louisiana before joining the United States Army 8th Air force.

Stationed in England and flew missions over Germany.

Re-enlisted to fight in the Korean war in 1951, discharged from the military in 1953



'I was Engineer + Top Turret Gunner on Hugh B Hunter's crew. We flew 6 wing missions + flew 10 lead missions.'



Hugh B Hunter's Crew 16 missions: 6 wing crew, 10 lead crew.



Later graduated from university of Mississippi in 1957, began a long career with the Social Security Administration before retiring in 1980.
