Martin Francis Owens Jr

Military

Served as radio operator/navigator in 3-men crews (with pilot and co-pilot) charged with ferrying damaged planes from the front in Europe and North Africa back to England for repair. He once said he felt 'invincible' all his life, having survived the war and so many flights in such damaged planes.
