Louis Szabo
MilitaryAssigned to 409BS, 93BG, 8AF USAAF. 26-Feb-43 B-24 41-23734 'Night Raider' crashed landed on return to Britain with 3 crew members wounded in action. Szabo was wounded with a quote 'There's more metal in me than in a B 24. The landing was at RAF Ludham, Norfolk. All crew members were returned to action and plane was salvageable.
Awards: AM (3OLC), PH, EAME (3BS), WWII Victory.
