Entered service at New Cumberland, PA September 1942. Joined 392nd October 1943. Rank at end of WW II was T/Sergeant. Pilot-Colby Waugh. Discharged June 1951. hit by flak, trying to get back to base their B-24 'Alfred' #42-7485, lost 3 engines but got them restarted, lost fuel and realized they might have to ditch in North Sea. Did make it back to land and crashed near Sheringham. Injured.
