Military

Our first night in England being greeted by a 'dog fight' between Eng. Spitfires and German bombers over our base. The first German buzz bombs almost hit our barracks. The horrible sight of a B-17 blowing up before we could rescue the crew and being missed by inches of being hit by armature from the engine generator of that plane.
