He served in the U.S.A.A.F during W.W. II as a co-pilot in the 457th Bombardment Group, flying B-17s out of the airbase near Glatton, England. Kenneth authored two books based on his war years, "The Fireball Outfit" and "A Co-Pilot Remembers".
