Joseph Richardson served as a pilot with the 558th Bomb Squadron of the 387th Bomb Group. He completed 20 missions. On 25 February 1944 he was reported as Missing in Action. His body has never been found but his name is recorded on the Tablets of the Missing at Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial.
