James Monroe Mounts
MilitaryPrisoner of War (POW) Shot down by fighters and crashed at Silberstr on 7/20/44 in B-17 #43-37819. James parachuted to safety and escaped capture for two days. After he was captured he was interrogated and sent to Stalag Luft I in Barth Germany until the end of the war.
