As wife of Homer, I heard many stories of the 8th Air Force. He only went on a few missions; he was then told he was too valuable in the lab where he developed and processed the films of the bombings of Germany. The end of the lab was blown away by German bombing. He had 11 years of medical photography before enlisting. The museum was a wonderful tribute to those who served.
Awards: WWII Victory, EAME.
