Silsbee, TX 77656, USA | 4 September 2004 | George Emil Methvin, of Silsbee, passed away at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital. A longtime resident of Silsbee, he was a retired Lab Technician from Texaco in Port Arthur. As a WW II veteran in the Army Air Corp, he flew 17 missions over Germany and two missions over France. His assignments included tail gunner, navigator and co-pilot. George served as Deacon of First Baptist Church of Silsbee. During retirement, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and his grandchildren, as well as being a "computer whiz". |
