Ernest Malcolm Wendt

Military

Ernest Malcolm Wendt was born in Wisconsin in June 1917. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in October 1941 in Wausau, Wisconsin. He was assigned to the 331st Bomb Squadron, 94th Bomb Group as a pilot. He served in the Army Air Corps for five years before taking a position at Leadbetter-Wendt Corporation. He married Elaine Williquette in August 1947. Ernest Wendt died on Feb 6, 2003.
