The mission on 14 Aug 44: our bomb salvo rod was shot off on the approach to the primary target, and we ended up going over 3 targets before finally dropping our groups bombs on Haburatrat airbase.
Air Medal w 4/Oak Leaf Cluster; DFC, EAME ribbon with 3 bronze stars, American Campaign Ribbon, Good conduct, WW II Victory and a Pres. Citation for a mission flown on 14 Aug 44.
