Edward M. James standing on the wing of his personal ship, 42-25704, 7J-Z, "My Lady June". Considered by James & Ernest "Tibbo" Tibbets to be a "lucky ship", James was given this plane when Tibbets was given a new "bubbletop". The ID of the ship was changed from 7J-E to 7J-Z between Dec 5th (Tibbets' last flight in 42-25704) & Dec. 8th when my dad flew her under "7J-Z" for the first time.
