Carl H Gooch
MilitaryCarl's plane was shot by German FLAK. The plane flew a few mile before they had to bail out. Carl landed in a field where he was helped by two Dutch boys. Later he was moved to Leiden where he stayed the remainder of the war. His plane, 'Jayhawk' #42-32079, eventually crashed on the outskirts of the Dutch village of Lisse on September 26th. Carl lost two crew members: Donald J. Reilly and Wilbur H. Parker
