DFC. "Merry On" caught fire on return from mission Salvaged 11/4/44. Born 20 May, 1925. Entered service 20 May, 1943. Made it through the war. He was killed in flight to Kuwait, piloting Lebanese International Airways plane from Beirut, Lebanon on Oct 03, 1957, crashing into the sea after reporting plane was on fire. Body was never recovered.
