5 F-5s and 1 Spitfire from 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group are despatched on photo recce sorites over Holland, Western Germany and NW France. There are no losses or claims but 1 aircraft was Damaged Beyond Repair (DBR) when pilot overshot the runway and crased into the river Thames - pilot and photographs OK - 1RTD
