IMAGEMe & Dad in April 1976. I just returned from a short stay in LA. He secretly planned to talk me into joining the US Army to give my life some structure. See that Cheshire Cat smile he has?! His last few years in the USAF were working in Recruiting at the Pentagon. I didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of NOT getting talked into it. Dad could sell anybody on anything. Admittedly, I had no plans for college and NO IDEA what I wanted to do as a career. Thank God he talked me into it, because my life turned out great BECAUSE OF being in the military (even though it was only for 5 years). I LOVE THIS PHOTO OF US.

Dad’s own photos and documents he left to me and my sister in his Will (she didn’t have a place to store them and I did, so I kept them to this day).
Family photos Mom took and left to us when she predeceased Dad. I turned out to be the keeper of all family photos and documents.
