Capt. William J. Price, 350th FS, 353rd FG, 8th AF, Price was later promoted to Major. The aircraft P-51D 44-14419 was later re-assigned to Lt. George W. Robinson who renamed it “Marilyn”. He was shot down in her over Belgium on December 25, 1944 and managed to evade capture.
Major William J. Price named this aircraft after his only sister.
It was crash-landed by Lt. George W. Roberts on 25 December 1944, in Belgium.
