Shot down by an ME-109G-6 southwest of Vincenza, Italy. 4 KIA, 6 POW. 28 Dec 43. MACR 2454 - 1611.
The plane was badly damaged by the fighter's rockets and cannon fire. Some crew members were killed in the plane before it crashed, with some crew members being able to bail out and were taken prisoner. The aircraft came down near Padua, Italy. 28 Dec 1943.
