Delivered Denver 15/11/43; Ogden 18/11/43; Gr Island 10/12/43; Assigned 323BS/91BG [OR-S] Bassingbourn 24/2/44; while on training flight, crash-landed base then caught fire 6 April 1944 with Capt Albert Kuehl, CP- Jewell Stevens, N-Mortimer Oudnoss, E-Whitmall Hill; Capts Jim Kelly, Bill Dillo; all six RTD ; fire crews failed to beat the fire and sal n/battle damaged 2SAD Lt Staughton.
