Crashed

Oldenburg, Germany 25 June 1943 Poor visibility on the way to the target caused the formation to scatter. En route to Hamburg, the ship suffered flak damage from anti-aircraft, the crew bailing out and the ship crashing in the vicinity of Oldenburg, Germany. Nine members of the crew were taken prisoner, with one, the Ball Turret Gunner, killed. No MACR exists for the two planes lost this mission.
