B-24 "Black Dog"; Ship # 42-7567 was flown by its original crew from Morrison Field, West Palm Beach Florida on November 12th, 1943; making many stops including Puerto Rico, British Guiana, Brazil, Dakar, Marrakesh and Wales before arriving at Tibenham England onNovember 25th, 1943. The crew and a/c were assigned to 700 Bomb Squadron, 445 Bomber Group. The original crew flew in the "Black Dog" from their first mission (Bremen) on December 16, 1943 and an additional 11 missions. The crew's last mission in this a/c was to Osnabrack, Germany on February 21, 1944. The a/c seems to have been reassigned to another crew and been renamed.
