From Peter Randall of Little Friends (http://www.littlefriends.co.uk):
"If one looks at the IARC for 44-14819, it will be seen that the 352nd FG gained it from Warton on 12th October 1944 when it was assigned to Lt. Cyrus N Greer as HO-G and who named it “Lillie Marlene II”, following his P-51B-10-NA 43-7139 HO-G “Lillie Marlene”. Strangely, the IARC then states that it was salvaged due to battle damage on 9th December 1944, (whilst still assigned to Greer). This is obviously not exactly so, as the photos showing the last four, as well as the complete tail number prove that it did in fact get assigned to Goebel. Interestingly, it also received Cat. AC battle damage on 21st January 1945 as Miss Genny Cloud! Greer completed his tour on 15th January 1945, so Goebel must have had it assigned to him at that date or shortly before, seeing that tour expired pilots usually stuck around for a short time to help out with settling in the replacements."
