    These squadrons are the Army Air Force Communication Squadrons stationed in England and attached to the 8th AAF during WW II. There are no records on them in our files so they cannot be connected to any particular group.

  • Peter Voye

    Military | Sergeant
    Killed on 4 March 1945, when Metfield Airfield was strafed by a Junkers JU-88 of the Luftwaffe. Peter was in the control tower, and was the only casualty. The aircraft was shot down and crashed just south of the base, killing 4 of the German crew.
