Detachment
The mission of Detachment “A” is to intercept German Air Force continuous wave wireless telegraph (Morse) transmissions, decode and translate such messages, passing translated messages of immediate tactical importance to Detachments B and C, and all GAF messages to A-2, Headquarters, Ninth Air Force.
