Radio operator, Martin crew. 381st BG, 533rd BS, 8th AF. Shot down 22 June 1943 in B-17 #42-30021. Mission #1 - Antwerp, Belgium. First 533rd BS loss. Killed in Action (KIA). MACR 160. Sgt Goswick's body was never recovered. The aircraft crashed into the River Sceldt, eastern Scheldt Tidal Basin near Krabbendijke, Belgium. Listed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Henri-Chapelle American cemetery.
