OPS 18: Capt HE Parson.[sic] 8.7.43' Handwritten on reverse: 'Hershell.', the name 'Parson' has been amended in the same handwriting to read: 'Parsons'.

He served during the tests of the atom bomb at the White Sands proving grounds in New Mexico and Teapot i Nevada as a test manager.
