Killed in Action (KIA). 11 December 1943 B17 #42-30320 Coy de Coy was attacked by 4 ME 110s over the target of Emden, Germany after receiving flak damage over the Frisian Isles. With an engine on fire, 4 crew bailed out over Holland. The crew was able to put out the fire and the AC returned to base. 1 Killed in Action (KIA). 5 RTD 4 Prisoner of War (POW)
