Frank P Cifani
MilitaryAt 20 years old enlisted in Army-Airforce and was first sent to the Canal Zone to be trained as a pilot was sent stateside because of his mother's death in 1941. After leave Frank was transfered to Connecticut for training and then to Britain. Frank enjoyed the service working on planes. At a base dance he met an English girl and subsequently married her. Frank told of courting his wife on bicycles while bombs were flying overhead. He returned to the states at the end of the war. His bride followed afterwards.
