Interned in Turkey. Shot down on 1-Aug-43 while on TDY to 9th AF for Ploesti raid in B-24 'Horse Fly' 42-40267.



On 18-Nov-43, he was shot down flying B-24 41-29139 and Killed in Action (KIA). Plane crashed into North Sea.
