Military ROLL OF HONOURShot down 15 February 1943 in B-24D #41-23783 'Betty Anne' while serving as Co-Pilot. The aircraft was flying in the lead position when it sustained severe damage from flak over the target at Dunkirk, France. The aircraft crashed into the sea near Dunkirk. No burial record or listing of his name on any Wall of the Missing on any American cemetery in Europe could be located. Killed in Action (KIA). Brother of Henry G. MacDonald, CO of 305th BG.
