Plane crashed on his second mission; target was Point De Grave. Don and one othr crew member survived the crash. He was in a full body cast for one year after the crash. He stays in contact with a man in England who built a radio controlled replica of his plane. . . and even received a piece of the plane found at the crash site. His story has been published in a Nov 2003 issue of RC Report
magazine and his crew picture and a copy of that story is on a website. Plane was B-24 #4295120 'Hookem Cow'. http://hookemcow. com/ My uncle (Don C. Neville) was a member of the B-24H crew stationed at Horsham St. Faith UK. In honor of his memory and the crew of the 'Hookem Cow'.
