Bert J Pierce

Pierce was crew chief with 401 sqdn 91st BG and was awarded the Bronze Star for his invention of a tool to work on the planes' engines, His other claim to fame was being Crew Chief during the filming of 'Mephis Belle' and taxiing Eisenhower's B-17. He afterwards worked for Modoc Pear Orchard and Jackson County Road Dept. retiring in 1975, He died 5th March 1998 being survived by his wife and two daughters.
