A bombardier with the 44th BG Sterling Holm had already flown 4 missions before being crewed up with 66th Sqdn's 'Lemon Drop' in December 1943.



After completing 25 missions he was made Sqdn bombardier following which he was posted to Northern Ireland as an instructor before returning to the USA in December 1944.
