Killed in Action on 28 May 1944 attacking Paris Railroad bridge.



Plane was hit in the left engine on the bomb run. He pulled his plane into number 4 position of first flight then peeled off to right with engine smoking and left formation with wheels down appearing to be under control in a dive when last observed three parachutes were observed to come from the plane.



There was no reported observation of plane crashing.
