Have looked closely at FRE 1569 and FRE 1570 and the leather name patch definitely reads 'Navigator'.

Robert Tredinnick served as a navigator with the 390th Bomb Group. He was part of crew number 12. On 10 October 1943, he was flying in B-17 #42-30262 'Tech Supply' when it was shot down. He bailed out, was taken as a Prisoner of War (POW) and held at Stalag Luft III.
