Robert M McGhee Jr
MilitaryMcGhee was shot down on his 28th mission. He was taken to a hospital in Berlin to have shrapnel removed from his left thigh, then to Frankfurt for interrogation. Prisoner of War (POW) Stalag Luft III. Plane crashed at Senske on 10/6/44 in B-17 44-8143. Entire high Squadron was destroyed.
