Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Killed in Action (KIA) on 5 Jan 1944. B-17G #42-37887. On T/O in poor visibility, the left wing touched th ground and aircraft crashed. Earlier incident Oct. 9, 1943 in the 'Stupefier' B-17F 42-29890 which succssfully crash landed in a field near the 379th BG. Romme was WIA on the mission.
