Military ROLL OF HONOUR

[ Badly damaged on a mission to Leipzig on 20 Feb 1944, B-17F #42-5859 crash landed near Bozeat, Northamptonshire. RTD. ] Robert Di Stasi was Left Waist gunner on B-17F #42-5788 "AOG, Not In Stock", shot down after being attacked by five ME109s and crashed in Duffel, 8km NE of Mechelen, Belgium, on a mission to Büden, Germany on 22 February 1944. Killed on board; his remains were found in the crash. Killed in Action (KIA).
