Benjamin Parton Hall
MilitaryIt has been accepted that Benjamin is my father, and although I have no personal memories of him and have never met him I have it on good authority that he was a good man. In December 1944 he married Margaret LaBarre who had a brother, Leonard LaBarre who served with distinction with the USAAF.
According to Benjamin's Obituary, he flew 28 missions on Active Service and latterly became an Inspector with the US Customs Service before he retired in February 1980. He was recalled for service during the Korean War and served all of his time on bases within the USA. He died in March 1997.
Awards: AM, WWII Victory, EAME.
