Lowell Ernest Kellogg
MilitaryLowell Kellogg was Waist Gunner on B-17 "Liberty Queen" #43-37624, shot down by fighters and crashed near Glauchau, Germany on the 20 July 1944 mission to Leipzig. He managed to evade capture for two days before being captured on 22 July at 22:00 in Reinsdorf, 4km SE of Zwickau. Interned at Stalag Luft 4 Gross Tychow/Tychowo, Poland. Prisoner of War (POW).
