Lester H Knapp
Military ROLL OF HONOURLester Knapp flew missions with the 356th Fighter Group from March 1944. He was Killed in Action (KIA) on 12 August 1944 when P-47 PI-W 'Knapp Sack' 42-26563 was hit by light flak, hit the ground and exploded while strafing a small marshalling yard at Montcornet, France.
