Leon Moutsos was a first generation Greek American. His father emigrated from Samos Greece in 1908 and fought in WW I against the Germans in trench warfare. He was an avid photographer his entire life and loved sailing. He was trained as a machinist, but after his military career (9+ years) he began working with computers at United Airlines where he worked for over 25 years. He then retired from United Airlines and worked for Bank of America for another 25 years as a senior programming consultant where he helped develop the ATM system. He lived to be 92 years old and passed away peacefully at his home in Napa CA in 2014. He is survived by his son, wife, younger brother and extended family.



Awards: DFC, AM (3OLC), WWII Victory, EAME (4 Bronze stars), Good Conduct.
