"Frenchy's" aircraft included P-47D IV-L 42-8545 and P-51B IV-L 42-106906, both named "Mary."

Post war: Remained in USAF, rising to Lt Colonel in the reserves. Worked as a carpenter at St Lawrence Psychiatric Center for more than 30 years until retirement in 1975.
