He reported to the ETO on 11 Apr 1943. He trained on Donald Whipple crew, but was assigned to various crews as needed over 20 missions. He flew with Wesley Peterson on his last mission the first Stuttgart Raid 6 September 1943 in B-17 #4230163. Evaded. Returned to the UK 3 Nov 1943. Ret
