James Engard Morony

James Morony was Tail Gunner on B-17 "Liberty Queen" #43-37624, shot down by fighters and crashed near Glauchau, Germany on the 20 July 1944 mission to Leipzig. He managed to evade capture for four days before being captured on 24 July at 21:30 near Stenn, 4km SW of Zwickau, Germany. Prisoned of War (POW).
